Catherine with stuffed toys

Catherine left her home country of Zimbabwe in hopes of a better future for herself and her children.

In 2013 Catherine was diagnosed with cancer and had to have her eye removed in 2014. Since then she has struggled more than ever. She has been unable to find work, so she started crocheting children's toys to try and stay afloat financially.

Catherine hopes that she will be able to save enough for a prosthetic eye, but most importantly she hopes to keep food on the table for her family. She supports not only her children, but her sisters and her mother as well.

We hope to help Catherine grow and empower other women to continue to provide us with our beautiful little furry friends.
